Scope and Contents

This collection consists of six issues of the newspaper and a speech on Charles Egbert Craddock given April 29, 1887. The newspapers are housed with oversize materials. Issues include 11 May 1883 (no. 16), 8 June 1883 (no.20), 21 June 1883 (no. 22), 29 June 1883 (no23), 18 January 1884, and 1 February 1884 (no 27). The paper began as the Weekly Enterprise, by January 1884 it was known as the Davidson College Enterprise.

William Alexander Jetton Papers

Scope and Contents

The collection consists of correspondence, printed materials, and financial materials. The correspondence concerns Jetton's license as a Registered Pharmacist, invitations, and voter registration. The printed materials include a 1922 directory of Druggists in North Carolina, soft drink tickets, and a newsletter, "The Dixie Queen," issued by William Leslie Harvey in Iredell County. The financial materials are cancelled checks for 1903 to 1906.

Scope and Contents During his student years at Davidson College, Cooper kept a student scrapbook. The scrapbook covers the years from 1919-1923. Prior to 1928, information about the YMCA appears in the Wildcat Handbooks, the Davidson College Magazine, the Davidsonian and the yearbooks. The minutes include the meetings of the Board of Control 1928-1949 and the YMCA Cabinet, 1924-1948.
